As a result of this course the participant will be able to:

  • describe the 5 levels of lymphatic structures and how to clinically activate them for edema reduction
  • recognize the various types of edema
  • be able to state two pros and cons of 4 types of edema reduction techniques
  • select edema reduction techniques in relation to stages and types of edema
  • describe principles and concepts of the upper extremity manual edema mobilization (MEM) technique
