Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- define Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Fibromyalgia
- identify the common symptoms of both diagnoses
- list the precautions for treatment for both diagnoses
- describe the recommended treatment methods for CRPS and Fibromyalgia patients
- list the mechanical and neurologic causes of pain in CRPS and surgical treatment options
- describe the algorithm for evaluation and treatment of CRPS
- recognize the pharmacologic agents used to treat CRPS and Fibromyalgia
- describe the role of the therapy assistant in the treatment of patients with CRPS and Fibromyalgia
