Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• define Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Fibromyalgia
• identify the common symptoms of both diagnoses
• list the precautions for treatment for both diagnoses
• describe the recommended treatment methods for  CRPS and Fibromyalgia patients
• list the mechanical and neurologic causes of pain in CRPS and surgical treatment options
• describe the algorithm for evaluation and treatment of CRPS
• recognize the pharmacologic agents used to treat CRPS and Fibromyalgia
• describe the role of the therapy assistant in the treatment of patients with CRPS and Fibromyalgia
