Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• identify congenital anomalies of the hand and upper extremity
• identify acquired trauma conditions of the pediatric hand patient
• identify the non-operative and operative treatment of all the pediatric hand conditions seen in hand therapy
• identify strategies for improving ROM, muscle strength, dexterity, sensation and sensitivity
• identify strategies for effective parent and child education
